Someone gave it to me and I need to get her energies off of it.

Answer to lateralus' question: The herb is Devil's Shoestring, and it was given to me by a magickal shoppe owner. She's nice and all, but I don't trust her enough to have her energies all over my herb that's supposed to help me with an upcoming audition I have.

There are many ways, set it out in the sun light, or moon light, bury it in sea salt for 24hours are all good and quick ones :)

depends on the herb and the energies that were left. Well there a many different ways to clean negative energy, You could use crushed sea salt. Poor the salt over the bundle of herb and let the salt fall on a protection amulet if you have one. Or like the poster said below, but I would leave out the holy water!!!!

Try some holy water sprinkled over it, and whatever charm you like-- same way you'd consecrate your tools or your altar. The charm can be as simple as "I cleanse thee, I cleanse thee, I cleanse thee", since it's the intent that matters

the best way to cleanse anything is to let it sit in the moonlight overnight--peace!
