I expect most guys are wondering the same thing! The reason is that the ends of our hair start to split after several months of washing, blow drying, curling, and brushing it. Split ends of hair makes it look damaged and bristly, NOT smooth and soft. So we usually cut off a few inches and let it grow out longer and the next time we cut it, it will be longer than the last time. So we eventually get the long hair we want!

Women who have their hair cut on a regular basis, is because of the split ends. When we have split ends what happens is the end of the hair fray, so it never grows. Cut all the split ends off and our hair grows quicker and is in much better condition. Hope this answers your question.

We don't cut our hair to grow it long, we cut our hair so that it doesn't look like a rats tail when it grows long!!! Regular trims ensures that hair remains healthy as it grows, if you leave it, it will get split ends, become straggly and look like crap, so all that hard work to grow it is wasted!!! Trimming it regularly might mean that it takes a little longer to reach your goal, but you'll have a beautiful head of hair instead of a mop head!!!!!

Generally, cutting body hair will stimulate regrowth. However, this is only one way to encourage faster growing hair. I would also recommend using a hair growth product like FAST, which can increase hair growth by up to 45%

haha, they don't cut it to grow it long, in case you haven't noticed, hair grows from the top of your head? Cutting it regularly to make it grow is a myth, women just cut it to keep split ends off.

We have it cut regularly to keep it tidy otherwise it will just grow into a straggly mess. It takes longer to grow your hair when you do this, however, at least it looks better when it gets to where you want it.
