Here's my way.
Cook 8 oz of macaroni (regular size). Grease a 2 qt casserole dish and heat oven to 350 degrees.
layer 1/3 of macaroni, sprinkle with 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1/3 more macaroni on top of that, then 1 cup more sprinkled cheese on that, ending with last 1/3 layer of macaroni.
Mix 2 lightly beaten eggs, 1 1/2 cup milk, 3/4 tsp salt, 1/8 ground white pepper in small bowl and pour over macaroni.
Spray a little oil on inside sheet of foil. Cover casserole and bake 45 minutes.
Take off foil, sprinkle with 1 cup cheese and paprika. Cover and let stand 10 minutes. eat immediately.

In a baking dish of appropriate size start out with a batch of "aldente" elbow macaroni. Layer with assortment of shredded cheeses, American or Velveeta should be used as well to facilitate the "creamy" texture, cubed ham, favorite herbs, or whatever suits your fancy. top the assembly with a layer of cheese. Drizzle an appropriate amount of whole milk over all (not too much!). Bake at 350 degrees for the amount of time needed for how big the batch is. (Done when the cheese is melted throughout. Stir and serve!

Boil your macaroni noodles for 8-10 minutes, drain ....layer a lightly greased oven safe pan or dish with a layers of noodles topped with the cheese you'd like and sprinkle very very lightly each layer with about a teaspoon of flour. After you layer ...add about 1/4 cup of milk with a tablespoon of melted butter poured across the top.....350 degree oven for about 35-45 minutes.Oh and don't forget the salt and pepper on the layers...just to your personal taste.
Enjoy
