Do you measure level with your belly button or the part of your waist that goes inwards. On a diet and want to lose a few inches but not sure how I should be taking the measurements.

You should use the top of your belly button as your guide. I have been measured numerous times and everyone used the top of the belly button.

I am a size 28inches around the waist... measure where you curve in the way, just below the rib cage i think it is.

If I measure just across the bell button its a 30 and thats too big for me!
