Girl, you have got this chic laughing her a*s off. I have to say my night was going pretty blah but then I read your question and now I can't stop laughing. How true!!! My son ( who just turned 3) does everything that his father does too. I feel like I'm raising 2 boys. I'm not sure if it's genetic... probably more like seeing what they can get away with. My little one is starting to use his magic ear now too, just like his dad. You know, the one that can hear things like "dinners ready" or "there's this neat toy at the toy store" but can't hear a tantruming toddler in the next room. And just forget about going into a toy store with both of them. You are going to be there for hours, just becuase they BOTH want to play with everything they can get their hands on.

Probably genetic. Nature has it sorted out so that for the continuation of the species, the bits that matter have to have a good blood supply, and in order that atrophy does'nt set in this is the reason.
Nature is clever, a flower makes nectar to lure the bees so that it can pollinate.another flower.
Boys & men get a quick fix.
Girls get a bigger fix ( up to 5 an hour) this is to compensate for the pain of childbirth.
Always remember civilation would die out in a very short time, Less than 100 years
AS far as the nose-picking is concerned, I hav'nt a clue !!!!!!!!

That's so funny! I have a 12yr old - he was a perfect baby; absolutely textbook! I also have a 14mo and he's the same as yours! Picks his nose (hasn't tried to eat it though), found his penis and same as yours, reaches for it at every change! I told his pediatrician and they say there's no problem. She said "some find their penis and never let go". Funny, two boys, same family, same discipline, opposite ends of the spectrum! Don't worry, little mama, you're not alone! Just watch out that he doesn't reach down there when he's too poopie and the nose picking- no one ever died from it and it's nothing social pressure won't eventually cure - same like thumb sucking! Hang in there!

If I truly have drugs I could take at 5:00, I shove the pills up my nostril and set an alarm on my blackberry that asserts, "Sneeze." Then I sneeze and whilst i discover the pills in my hand I say, Oh yeah, i'm meant to take those!

Yep! For sure, sometimes I have the feeling I am married to my mother in law, same habits, same expressions, drives me crazy.
She lives 3000 miles away and hardly ever see her and yet she seems to live with me. All in the genes

I don't know about the picking of the nose bit, but the rest sounds pretty much on par!
Don't worry about it - thats what makes us lovable :)

Sometimes I believe it is, my daughter has several of her daddys habits as well as mine. I've always twirled my hair and I noticed one day that she does also. Also, kids mimic what they see as well.
