No, porn is degrading and will not help a person be a better boyfriend or gilrfriend much less to be a better spouse. There are a lot of people who have watched a porn movie or two but not really changed as a result and that's fine. However, there are people who get addicted to porn the way some people get addicted to drugs and they want more extreme stuff... plus they might try to pressure their romantic partners into doing what they don't want to do.
That's not love.

Bible-thumpers and pimps are cut from the same cloth. Both are extremes and present a narrow, one-sided, biased position.
You can actually look at porn and learn something that will be beneficial in one way or another. Being aware of alternatives makes you better able to make an informed decision. I once picked up a small book in a bookstore that many Thumpers would have called porn. I read a bit of it, went home that night and almost sent my wife flying throught the headboard of the bed. So whether you view "porn" as vile or educational depends on attitude and how you use it.
