I am a 42 year old biker for Christ. I have hair half way down my back. Does that mean I can't be a Christian? No it doesn't. I is not a sin for a man to have long hair.
I have been told by church going people that is a sin yet I to know the word and the verse that they like to through at me. It is found in 1 Corinthians 11:14 but they never read al the way down to verse 16. They fail to read the whole word.
God will used you as he found you. He found me like I am and uses me as he found me.
Serve as you are and don't try and be something your not. Don't judge others by the way they serve. Just as the body have many parts so it is in the body of Christ. Each part does different thing but they all work together for the good of the whole body.
I will not cut my hair because it is a tool that opens doors that other wise would never open.

It's not a must...
Jesus wore his hair long as a sign he was a Nazarite .
Nazarite :
(Heb. form Nazirite), the name of such Israelites as took on them the vow prescribed in #Nu 6:2-21 The word denotes generally one who is separated from others and consecrated to God. Although there is no mention of any Nazarite before Samson, yet it is evident that they existed before the time of Moses. The vow of a Nazarite involved these three things,
1. abstinence from wine and strong drink,
2. refraining from cutting the hair off the head during the whole period of the continuance of the vow, and
3. the avoidance of contact with the dead.
When the period of the continuance of the vow came to an end, the Nazarite had to present himself at the door of the sanctuary with
1. a he lamb of the first year for a burnt-offering,
2. a ewe lamb of the first year for a sin-offering, and
3. a ram for a peace-offering.

It was common in Jesus's time that men had long hair and I wouldn't be surprised if Jesus did actually have long hair. There are thousands of pics depicting Jesus with long hair. But times have changed as well as the robes and sarongy-like fashion in the New testament to the 21st century. But in my opinion i don't think long hair would suit you. Your look at the moment suits you very well. You can't be like Jesus, but you can follow His steps by following the Ten commandments, doing holy and moral acts and devoting to charity and helping others.

There is no evidence that Jesus wore long hair - in fact, it was considered a disgrace for men to have long hair. (1Cor.11:14).

I DON'T think He wore His in pink ribbons and curls. I'll guarantee He didn't flounce when He did either.
