Oh my Gods ... what a fascinating question!

First off, if I ended up in heaven, I'd think I was actually in hell. Given the way heaven is described in the bible, it would be a living hell to me. There is no contrast in heaven. Everybody would think the same, behave the same, worship in the same way - I don't know about you but that's a nightmare to my way of thinking. I love the colors and differences that are represented by LIFE on this planet! Consequently, my personal heaven would include every conceivable contrast that we have here on earth. But having said that...

If heaven was a beautiful reflection of life here on earth, including a few Christians thrown in for good measure, I might be happy there. And if it were in fact a beautiful reflection of life here on earth, can you imagine the utter surprise of the Christians who ended up in my personal heaven?! Delicious!

I've always believed that it doesn't matter whether you're a Christian, a Muslim or a pagan or even a republican, if you live a good life and treat people well, do the right things, don't steal or cheat, etc., and you're happy with your deep-down inner-self, that you'll end up in heaven, nirvana, paradise, middle earth or just gradually be at eternal peace after you die.

I would not be surprised if I went to heaven, as heaven (or some derivation thereof) is part of my belief system. However, it's not the same "Heaven" that Christians speak of.

If I found that there were not Christians in this place, I would not be surprised either.

Have you ever seen Heaven yourself? You ask as if though you have seen Heaven yourself a thousand times. Is it a regular vacation destination where you always spend your summer and winter? My friend, no one alive in this universe has ever seen Heaven with his/her own eyes. Maybe you can see spirits moving and the last time you saw someone dead, you asked his/her spirit where it was going! Then you saw and stayed in Heaven for a couple of days!?!

I'd be very surprised. My views are that everyone is in heaven. How could it be heaven if the ones you loved weren't there? *grin*

Personally I'm a Heathen myself.

As an atheist I don't believe in heaven, so if I went there, yes, I would be extremely surprised!

Hell yes! (or is it Heavens yes!). Going to a fairlytale land made up by a bunch of goat herders 2,000 years ago would be a total trip!

Aint gonna happen, because the only sure way to get to heaven is to believe in Jesus the Christ as Savior. Those who had never heard of Him (and with today's evangelical efforts - that's few) will be given a choice. Those who have denied Him in this world will be denied by Him in the next. Sooooo sorry. The good news is, there is still time to get your head out of your butt and come around.

I think god would say too me (a atheist), well done, you're a brave brave bstard, all the fear and wrath my minions could conjuer didn't convince you for a second, your just the type of free thinking mentally strong person this place needs.

I'd then tell him to go fk himself. And we'd both laugh.
