If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop taking Lyrica and seek medical attention or contact your doctor immediately:
· an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives).
• Other, side effects may be more likely to occur. Talk to your doctor if you experience
· dizziness, poor coordination, or drowsiness;
· blurred or double vision;
· weight gain and swelling of the hands and feet;
· unexplained muscle problems, such as muscle pain, soreness, or weakness;
· dry mouth; or
· tremor.
• Lyrica caused skin sores in animals. Although skin sores were not seen in studies in people, if you have diabetes, you should pay extra attention to your skin while taking Lyrica and tell your doctor of any sores or skin problems.
• Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.

While it's not listed as one of the more common side effects, it actually CAN cause memory loss in a small percentage of people who are taking it.
If the memory loss becomes something that is intolerable for you, talk to your doctor about putting you on another medication.

The most common adverse events occurring during all controlled clinical trials were dizziness, somnolence, edema, dry mouth, blurred vision, weight gain, and thinking abnormal (primarily difficulty with concentration/attention). Adverse events were generally mild to moderate and dose related. In most cases, they were not severe enough to stop treatment. In the majority of cases, some of these side effects resolved with continued dosing.
So, it appears that any memory loss was temporary.
