If Revelation is studied properly and cross referenced with other Bible scriptures, it makes sense.
Rev. 12;7-9 explains that the serpent who tempted Adam and Eve was Satan. Spells it out.
It explains that Satan was ejected from heaven to earth and is the cause of all out troubles.,
Rev. 7;4 and 14;1 limits the number who will be taken to heaven.
Rev. 17; It warns of the end of false religion. And who will be its [ her] downfall. Government and big business. The kings of the earth and the travelling merchants.
It describes false religion. Finer linen and purple and silk and scarlet [ Rev. 18;11] and wealthy.
It warns people to 'get out of her'. It 'sits' on 'many' 'waters'/
meaning it controls many people. Religion does this, through fear.
It warns that when the cleansing of the earth occurs, the death toll will be so great that the bodies will not be able to be buried, but will become food for the birds. Rev. 19;17 & 21.
It promises that Satan will be eliminated and that God will bring in a new system where sickness and death are no more. Rev. 20;10 and 21;4.
And finally it says that God will protect what is written in the book, and the dire consequences for those who try and alter it. Rev. 21;8.
It all makes sense.

Very plausible. Hallucinogenic fungi were used by many different cults around the world: Robert Graves gives a fair amount of detail in 'The White Goddess' plus I think it's also detailed in 'The Golden Bough' by William frasier (?). anyway both very interesting regarding interpreting symbolism etc.
I understand that various visions in Revelations are typical of mushroom magic.

Revelation means a disclosure of something otherwise unknown. It is not some big flashing vision with knowledge downloaded with it. John was given a little scroll and told to eat it, or read and digest it. This then was the source of new information. He was told to prophecy again to many nations, tongues, tribes and people.

I believe it like all the other books of the Bible was inspired by God (Jesus). The only thing that came from men was the pen, paper, and ink to write it; all the words came from the God.
And any arguments about it was written by men so it cant be be from God, are obliterated into dust when you use what people like to call on here "logic"
The writers of the books couldnt of known all the details, becuase it (Bible) mentions about lives and details of other peoples lives that the writers couldnt of known becuase they more than likely didnt evan know the people they were writing about. The only way to know would be to either go meet the person, or (and more likely) to be inspired of God about the other people.

yes i think you could be correct, although the first testament is from god, the rest is the word of man. god gave all the fruits of the earth to man exept the apple of the tree of knowlege.
man ate all the fruits such as weed, magic mushrooms, peyote, etc. and those who were not to weak to understand that which these fruits told them, passed the things they learned on as best they could. christianity is not gods chosen religion, nor are any of the other intolerant cults that caused death and suffering over the years. Eat the fruits god gave you and receive the message he left for you. Your life will improve!

the book of Revelation was written about the fall of Rome and it has nothing to do with our future but yeah i think john the drowner was smoking or taking some kind of drug while writing the book of revelations and then the people of christianity started to believe it was based on the future isnt that just gullible? i think it is
