Before you get one, think long and hard. Look at how many people did the barbed wire thing on their upper arms and how out of style it is now. I think unless you are into to the art part of tattooing, the smaller the better and safer you are. Think of how faded and gross tattoo's look on the arms of old men!

I have a tattoo on my lower back and I'm not a tramp, far from it! Even though I'm a woman I think tattoo's on the lower back are very sexy. Actually I got mine a little higher on my lower back than the norm and I kinda wish I got it lower and I'm thinking about getting something underneath it so it shows more. The only way it's a "tramp stamp" is if they purposely put it there to get guys to notice them or they dress slutty to show it off. I think tattoo's are very nice on the shoulder or upper back also. And since you only want to cover it up for work you probably won't wear tanktops so it won't show. Hope I helped, keep me posted

1st off don't think of it as a tramp stamp because that clouds your thoughts. I don't like it when people refer to it as such because I have one & know lots of Ladies that do. I like mine & I'm definately NO tramp. Yes, they are sexy & detail a girls waist more. You think about you & your new tattoo instead of the label on it. Then you will be able to decide where you want it. My daughter got her's between her shoulder blades instead. She's able to cover it for work & yet wear open back shirts to show it off too. If you have it down on paper then stand in front or a mirror, attach it to different locations (use tape) to see where YOU like it best. It's your body & you have to live with it forever so it shouldn't matter what another person thinks. Should it? Don't let society keep you from being YOU.

I actually have grown very tired of them, and find them unappealing. I have done so many, and seen so many and although the design is good, and done well, they just don't flow with bodies. No, not 'only "tramps" get them, getting them dosen't make you one, either. Between your shoulder blades is a prettier place to get them, or on your hips, on on your ribs are all pretty well hidden places, and places seem to accentuate a woman's body more, that's just from what I see day in-day out, you know...? You're gonna do what you do, and because of the movies and such that talk about that, unfortunately, you willmost likely be branded like that..

just because someone has a tat above there butt doesnt make them a tramp! I proudly wear mine on my arm for over 33 years and I am not a tramp..you should get it where you want to but why hide it? why dont you just draw it on if you dont want anyone to see it..also it has not faded and is not wrinkly! it looks great and i have very thin arms so it has never streched

I find tattoos on the shoulderblades a hell of a lot sexier. There's also the decolletage... or on the hip bone.
They're all sexy, easy to hide, and not a lame tramp stamp.

Why don't you put it between your shoulders but low enough so you can cover it if need be??? p.s I have a tramp stamp but it is below the avg area so It wont show unless I want it to.

I think that you should go for it. It is your body, and society looks at tattoos weird no matter where you put them. Whether its on your lower back, on your foot, on your arm, on your upper back...doesnt matter. They will label u for having a tattoo period. Not just cuz of where it is located. I have one on my lower back, and one on my hip bone. Both of which are considered to be "trampy" but I dont really care what society thinks about any of my tattoos. I got them for me cuz I like them, not to impress anyone else. Do what you want to.
