how do you deal with the lack of "miracles" in your life: no one to fall in love with, not getting the job you want but you're trying as much as you can, your "friend" is only with her boyfriend, your family life's not nice, etc...

A period of being (or feeling) "alone" is an opportunity to get to know yourself better, to cherish yourself a little bit more and work on your self confidence. Take up meditation, get yourself a journal and express your deepest feelings, writing it in everyday. The aloneless feeling will pass soon, but meanwhile try to enjoy being with and discovering and developing the wonderful person you are.

there was an Elvis song titled " your time hasn't come yet, baby " which may help. as far as the rest goes remember life is like a wheel. right now everything seems to be against you but just wait as soon the wheel will start turning and things will start brightening and then you will be on top of the world. then the wheel will slowly start turning again. everything runs in cycles just like the seasons. we can't have all good or all bad in our lives as this isn't how life is. without the bad we would never appreciate the good and without the good we would all be depressed and nothing would be accomplished.

There are worse people off than you.

Don't feel sorry for yourself it doesn't help anyone., particularly you.

I have been unemployed since I was 21 (16 years)...and Have had about 7000 job rejections for no reason, even though I am quilified as hell, never been to jail or have ever taken drugs).

I am unemployed simply because no one will employ someone whe has been unemployed that long..If there is any milk of human kindness noone has shown me it.

Imagine this poverty filled, hopeless, harsh, intensely worried empty existance for a second.

Thats my life.

I was like this for a while, when I was younger. I decided I had to do something about it, so I joined a 'social club' - Best thing I ever did. We did loads of fun activities together, went on trips and foreign holidays, played sport, and I had several girlfriends from there including the one who became my wife and the mother of my three children.

You have to make the effort to turn your life around. Look for opportunities, take a few risks. Could be the best thing you ever do.

Fall back on God and He'll be sure to bring you through.

Philippians 4:13: "For I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

I know you may be thinking, that's easy for you to say, b/c I don't know every little thing that pains you. But even if our hurts are not or have not been the same, the same God can bring you through. Trust me, I'm living evidence!! :)
Best of luck -

Now is the time to get up and praise God. You can lie down in the reality of your life and get all depressed or you can thank God that He's going to fix things for you!

Try reading some of Joel Osteen's works, he's good for what ails you right now.

People really need to stop looking at what the don't have and focus on what they DO have (Must admit that I have been guilty of that many times before). God has blessed all of us in many different ways. Roof over our head, food on our plate, a job to go to, etc . . .
There are soooo many people in the world (or in this country, for that matter) who don't have those things.
Count your blessings, name them one by one and it will surprise you what the Lord has done!

join some church group, visit the library, do some volunteer work, the world isnt going to come to you. You have to go out and meet some people who share the same values as you do.

Jesus Christ! Through your faith and your prayer, and patience to Him, He will lead you and guide you to do what you ought so that your life would prosper.
