If there is a god he or she is a forgiving one so do not worry. It OK and besides most religion is dogma anyway. There are plenty of lessons to be learned in religion. But there are other ways to learn how to be a good person with having to weed out al the self-rightness stuff. Read about ethics for a start and leave the fairy-tales to the masses.

That is funny that you would say that. I thought that way for a long time. Back when I was atheist, I allowed my daughter to go to Sunday School with the neighbor because I thought what's the worse that could happen? She learn some good values?

Well the best happened. She accepted Christ and she evangelized to her Mommy (the only one I wouldn't fully push away)
So she helped sow the seeds that were planted in winter soil before by a few good women.

Being a good person is not enough, our Righteousness is as filthy rags in God's Presents. We must have a Personal Relationship with God, by way of Jesus Christ.

Yes, God does not require us to be "religious", He just wants us to love Him.

Religion is just the method we choose to worship Him.
