The short answer is "yes".

The longer answer is more complex, and comes from a general notion of Christianity:

Each of us has an individual responsibility to honor God's commandments, regardless of the actions of the people around us. So, even if my parents are evil people, I am still required to honor and obey them.

This is not the same as doing something I know is wrong because my parents tell me to. My parents can not give me a license to sin, and my obligation to God is higher than my obligation to my parents.

In short, the fact that my parents are sinners does not relieve me of the obligation to honor them. All humans are sinners.

You can honor them still. Honor thy mother and father does not mean putting up with evil.

You can honor them by forgiving them - that doesn't mean going back for more,

Yes, you are suppossed to honor them regardless. Now, if theyre asking you to do something against the will of God...dont.
But I believe God helps them who ask. He will make a way where there is no way. HONOR them, yes....but put God first.
Obeying and honoring your parents is the first commandment with promise...that your days upon the earth will be long.

I beleive that we are to honor who they are not what they do, it is not for us to judge but to be obedient. It is possible for us to serve God by following his way truth and life, in this we can forgive and learn. After all our mother and father are only the vessels thru which we came God is our Father and provides us what we need from there as long as we have a relationship with him (higher power). Be Blessed not possessed.
