The teaching of the cross sign came from the Catholic ideals & not True Christians, Many denominations today even thinks the only way to pray is down on your knees, I believe that a person can pray standing up, sitting down, laying down, or even on their knees. It's what is in the heart that counts when you pray, & if anyone's heart is in the right place, they will pray with humbleness, & Honestly.

it isnt the christians that make the sign of the cross, its the catholics. It is supposed to warn off demons I think. They dont just trust our Lord and Saviour too much I think to protect them.
