Depending on what you have in your freezer or Fridge. On Days I don't know what to make, I cook up pasta, pasta sauce, brown a little hamburger, and make a dinner that way. Or Alfredo Sauce. Which ever you like. But if Saturdays is your day to cook a big dinner, then I suggest a pot roast or homemade chicken veggy noodle soup. Very simple. I will give recipe for this.

Brown Chicken
Add 2-3 Cans of Mixed Veggies
or 1 Pkg of Frozen Mixed Veggies
Some Spaghetti Noodles.
Chicken Bollion or chicken broth

If you have a slow cooker that works wonders. If not Cook the noodles first, you can brown the chicken in a seperate pan at the same time.

Drain Noodles, In a bigger pot, Mix Bollion with water to make a broth or if you have canned broth, put 2-3 cans in. Add Cooked Noodles, Chicken and Veggies and let simmer on stove for about 30 mins.

I am planning on pork chops with raspberry gravy, fried spaghetti.

You take center cut chops and fry them in a little olive oil until done. Boil thin spaghetti. In the pan you fried the chops in you add a little flour to the olive oil and let brown, add enough cooking sherry to make a nice gravy then add about three tablespoons of raspberry jam...cook until all the jam liquefies, in another pan put a little olive oil and brown some garlic...when the garlic has browned you remove the garlic and add sliced green onion...let brown...add the cooked noodles....let brown....It is really easy, only takes about 30 minutes and is SOOOOO Yummy!

I'll cook some rice. There's rajma (kidney beans) in the fridge. I'll open a pack of ready to eat Mackarel curry. And I am so thirsty now that I am in the mood for a coke.

Where I come from it's always baked beans and homemade biscuits on Sat. night. Sweet pickle on the side and sometimes a hot dog. Apple pie for dessert. Can't beat it.
