All the 6y OMFS ( OMFS+MD) programs are for ADA-accredited dental schools graduates. Is there a way of getting a medical degree from the USA for OMFS surgeons who got training in OMFS in USA but dental degree from abroad? I know 1 way is through the university of antigua but some people says it provides inferior training.. Is there any other way??? thank you.

Dear Pathfinder, I know that you have to go to med school but my Question was which US Med school would accept a Foriegn trained dentist to do 2 years and get MD.

Yes, but he would have to go through medical school. They may grant him credit for some of the courses already taken.

This is such a unique situation, I think you would be better off picking a few schools of interest and then visiting their web sites for answers.

You've probably already started that and hoped to find someone else who went through the same thing, but I doubt you'll find them on Yahoo! Answers.
