I think I saw one crawl into my kitten's anus!

Yes we started treting them with Frontline and "bombed" the house once. Tomorrow is going to be the day for the second treatment. I also got some Frontline spray from a discount house over the Internet, so I will apply a tiny bit to the carpets and cat tree, and maybe to the carpeting in the car.
The fleas are biting us too now. We are doing all the vacuuming plus throwing vacuum bags away every day.

I bought a gorgeous kitten once and it came from a beautiful, spotless home. When I got it home, I wanted to give it a bath. Suddenly a millions fleas appeared, crawling in/out of its ears and nose. I think fleas can hide anywhere. Check with your Vet to see if your kitten is old enough for the GOOD flea/tick meds that you can get only from the Vet, not your local discount store. Good luck. I know it is terrifying and gross to see where the fleas are hiding !

Fleas will go where there is hair and a rich blood supply mostly base of tail belly and behind the ear...
Using a flea control like Front line or flea tablets that produce a chemical in the blood stream will get rid of all fleas no matter where they hide

Fleas might be hiding on the cat anywhere; however, they don't stay on the animal. They simply hitch a ride, have a meal then jump off into the carpet or furniture!

I guess they don't actually have armpits but when my dog had them last year that's where they would hang out mostly
