One friend of mine told me that he had done vudoo on me. I didn't believe that black magick exists but if the prayer can help somebody then the black magic can hurt them. What are the effects and what can you do?

Magick used to hurt another is black magick. You should try not to associate with someone who would harm another, even by magickal means. Imagine a place far away beyond the galaxy, imagine light coming from that place to you, gather the white pure light around you like a cloak. You should be ok.

Magick is actions according to natural law to effect changes in the environment according to will. The so called black/white distinction is purely a question of intent. The religion of Voodoun does teach magickal systems, as do many others, although, if the individual to whom refer cast a spell on you without your knowledge and consent, he is in no way your friend, and probably not a true practitioner of that faith.

He's probably just trying to scare you.
But, this is Black Magic and the the powers come from Satan.
Jesus has already conquered him And the whole world. So just say a prayer and ask God to protect and hedge you...and pray for your friend. Then Believe.

The shade of magic is colored by the intent.

If this person is attempting to slam curses on you, you really need to cut ties immediately. A person who tries to hurt you in any way is not someone you really want to keep in your life.

If you're really concerned, look up some protection charms. A symbol of your religion will do nicely; it's not the object, rather the faith behind it.

And your right about the prayer; another way of directing energy/intent.

E me if you need more help.

I believe voodoo is real but I would not practice it. If this person told you they put a hex on you there is every chance they are just playing. Because a real voodoo practitioner wouldn't be that childish. They would speak to you with the hex. If you would feel better a protection amulet would help.

from what I understand these acts of voodoo are not really performed upon those outside the religion as they do not have
" power " over non - believers. this is what some people say when I asked them. one person suggested if you fear a curse carry a religious cross which " counteracts " the evil curse.

Your friend is talking BOLLOCKS!! If he is scaring you he is not much of a friend either. Black magic only exists in the minds of those who believe and only has control over those who are frightened of it. It is all nonsense. Believe in only what you can see, feel and measure.

Imagine a light around you in your minds eye. And ask out loud, for God to help you.
Most wannbes who do magic have no real power, and it can
easily return to them.
Knowledge itself is not evil. It's what one does with it.
We can use our spirit to kill, or to heal.
Wicked people use knowledge to control others.
Righteous people use knowledge to gain self-control.
