im really close friends with this girl, we like each other alot we're single but dont wanna go out with each other so we're basically friends with benefits, would that give us a bad name?

I don't know about the bad name part....but I have experienced something like that and who is out broadcasting it.....but I must say its hard to be intimate with someone and not eventually have feeling for them....Women are just like that...maybe not early on but long term it will happen...

A bad name with who? If you are both happy, what business is it of anyone elses? You're both single aren't you? I have had a relationship like that with a very close friend on and off for 10 years! He is a wonderful man. We are both adults and we understand the situation perfectly and it works wonderful. I have no problems at all about him seeing other women should he choose to. We have safe sex and nobody is hurt. As long as nobody is wanting more then there is nothing wrong with it. We are very close friends and it works better this way than it did when we were partners. Neither of us expect the other to do or be anything but themselves and we have a very loving friendship that also happens to include sex sometimes.

Ultimately, the decision is yours and yours alone. Just be sure not to let the entire world know or else you will get known as big mack daddy and she'll be known as the slut. I had a similar relationship once, very happy, very satisfying. We liked each other, and slept together while we were both single but once one of us went off the market, we stopped and have remained friends ever since.
Just take good care of her, make her happy. Keep your mouths shut about the sex life or just leave the ambiguous question alone and let others think what they want to about your relationship. You'll be the only ones who really know.
