Hello, (ANS) YES! I tend to agree with golfer2 you should re-install the program (reboot the machine afterwards to write the changes into the windows registry) and then after it is installed. Then try un-installing it using the control panels add/remove feature. **If the program is well written the installer process will put back all the old files in the original locations on the hard disk, all the registry settings and overwrite any older settings. That means the same program can then be un-installed (removed) in a clean manner. **I DON'T recommend disk clean up tools unless your completely sure what they do and how they work, otherwise you could make matters worse and end up with a real tangled mess. **The problem is that NOT all programmers write software in the same way or use the same install /removal methods. If the software is NOT well written in the first place then it might not un-install cleanly i.e. it leaves all sorts of messy settings behind it when removed. And thats where this type of problem usually originates. **Finally if you must use a registry cleaner tool, if the above isn't successful for some reason. Then at least use a good quality tool. I highly recommend a 100% FREE program called REG SEEKER. This will safely clean up the registry and backup any items it removed in case a restoration is required later on. I have been using Reg Seeker for some time and its never caused any problems. **Also its worth backup up your Windows Registry before you run Reg Seeker and for this I use ERDNT (again this is free-ware) **A quick Yahoo or Google search will find both items easily. Hope that is useful? Kind Regards Ivan MCSE trained, ex IT professional, system builder.

If the driver was the Windows XP standard version then you may be able to reload it from the system. Just try telling Windows to reinstall the driver itself and if you're lucky you might be able to recover the file automaatically.
Failing that try finding the driver installation disc that would've come with the graphics card (it is a graphics card we're telling about, right?)
Failing that just do what I do and take it to an engineer! :D

You have to do a system restore, as the previous people have stated quite clearly without saying how. START MENU > Control Panal > Proformance and Maintainence > System. Go to the System Restore tab, and... wait. Uh.
Okay, that's not going to work. Instend let's try START MENU > Help and Support. Search for "System Restore" and select the "Run the System Restore Wizard." There you go.

1. http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intel915g/sb/CS-011363.htm and identify your graphics card.
Before you reboot. Otherwise get a program that can tell you what the graphics card is...such as a demo of http://www.lavalys.com/
2. http://www.intel.com/support/index.htm?iid=homepage+hdr_nav1_support and download the driver.
3. Reboot so card is properly removed.
4. Reinstall driver from download and retain file for future.

You can't reverse it. But you should be able to reinstall the driver from the driver installation cd.
