If I were you, I'd go for a Thompson/Center Contender. That way you can get numerous barrels in different calibers and use them on the same gun. I say the Contender instead of the Encore because you can shoot rimfire rounds like .22 LR and .17 HMR. I would initially get a .243 or a 7-30 Waters barrel if your going to do some hunting, or a .223 REM or .22 LR if your just going to plink and target practice.

my favorite handgun of all time. The STi Eagle 6.0 with full dustcover and in .38 Super. 19 round regular magazines, and 26 round extended magazine. the 6 inch barrel and long dustcover give it more weight, basically eliminating recoil with the small, but accurate .38 super. unfortunately STi is thinking of halting production on the 6.0 eagle soon, and I'm not 21 yet!!!! i want one sooo bad

Need more info. What guns do you now have and for what purpose are you buying more guns. Are you interested in rifles, handguns, shotguns, blackpowder? I'd like to help with some suggestions but need more info.
