Should I layer (wear a hoodie) or should I allow my body to sustain and produce its own heat? Whats healthy?

38 degrees?! I would need to wrap myself up in a heated blanket like a burrito!

Seriously... I would wear a polypropylene (breathable, does not stay cold when wet) base layer, a fleece or sweatshirt, topped off with a wind breaker or something of the like.

I also recommend hat, gloves and possibly warmer-than-usual socks.

Good luck and have fun!

It is 39 here in Sydney and will be often more than 40 this summer. Ride your bike side ways and forget the hoodie (whatever that is) nose to the ground and bum up in the air. Have fun.

Long sleeve shirt, long spandex pant, and a hoody would help. It's 38 degrees and you need to keep in some heat.
