Why did I open this? Because I figured it was probably another Bible-thumper looking to prop himself and his whacked-out opinions by only soliciting answers from people who agreed with him. Kind of like how our President only makes speeches in front of crowds full of Republicans so he can delude himself into thinking he's right as well. And I just can't let that sort of behavior go without saying something. I'm a jerk like that.

LMAO! You got me. I like to see what's going on in the world of Christianity, not because I see Christians as the enemy but simply because I like to know what is important to people. I also do answer some questions because I'm fairly knowledgeable about Christian theology, practice and history. I spent a year living in a convent, I had a minister for a mother-in-law for many years (I proofread her doctoral papers) and I spent many years as a believer and active in several churches of various denominations. I may now take a broader view of God but that doesn't mean I've forgotten what I learned. I like to encourage people to grow closer to God, no matter the form God takes with them.

Many "Christians only" invitations are just places where Christians trash everyone else and therefore attract the most diseased of the Christian cults (cults of one included) and are most in need of rational influence provided by Atheists.
