The location is not a normal area for cyst formation. Cancerous nodules tend to adhere, but cysts tend to move more freely, so trying pushing it around with your finger and if it slips easily, it is probably cystic. You mention that you have others but failed to mention location which would be significant. While it is true that both cysts and cancers can occur on all parts of the body, certain areas are more prone to cystic formation. Whether or not, the nodule moves, you should have a biopsy done, and if it is malignant, the sooner treatment is begun, the better. Benign tumors are fairly common (the difference between a tumor and a cyst is in the anatomy of the growth...cysts begin essentially like a hollow sphere and are slowly filled with various fluids...but a tumor is a solid growth that becomes larger). Benign tumors are removed only for functional or cosmetic reasons...if pain exists, or if you have difficulty moving, sitting, etc...or if it is on the face, neck, etc. Without an examination, I would guess it is benign, but it is still best to have your own physician make the diagnosis. I am a physician.

cysts are not the same things as breast cancer. Most cysts are benign- they can cause discomfort and don't look too attractive, but they are not harmful (hence "benign"). He should still check the lumps regularly for any changes, but there is very minor probability that he will get breast cancer. He should get insurance anyways because it's not only cancer he needs to worry about. A minor car accident or a broken arm can set him back thousands of dollars. You cannot get cysts or fiber if you have sex. FC Bis not dangerous. In women who have larger breasts and FCB, it does make it more difficult to detect cancer, but it does not cause cancer. It just means that it'll be more difficult to palpate lumps, so they should start with mammograms and ultrasounds earlier. He should also make sure to check the lumps regularly, and have his GP check them once a year, but he does not have higher probability of cancer.

Get it checked out ASAP. It is probably nothing to worry about but you are obviously worried so get it sorted out.
Remember Cancer does not differentiate between healthy worked out bodies and unfit ones. Non smokers and T totallers can get other cancers not related to these vices.
