Your indian? I am not Indian, but I speak hindi bcoz I watch alot of bollywood movies and I have dish net work too. I have star plus, B4U, Samay, Zeetv, Sony. And thats about it. Its very easy. I was born in NYC too and was raised here but I am originated from Pakistan. The best advice I can give you is if you watch alot of hindi movies and shows eventually you'll be able to understand Hindi and slowly start to speak it. Don't worry! It happened to me too. And I know alittle bit not alot but before I didnt know anything! lol. So it takes some time. Be patient. I learned from Hindi TV shows and drama's! its fun and that way you'll learn HIndi too. Trust me! I have been through this. I was in the same position as you have. Just watch the shows you have and speak Hindi w/your parents OR at least try to. hehe =]!!
