I am certain there is a medication the doctor can give you if you are serious. But children who nurse till age two are less likely to get diseases.

If you are no longer feeding you son at all... Take an antihistimine/ decongestant milk is made by milk ducts which react to the antihistimine/decongestant similar to musuc glands... Take a warm (not hot) shower let the water cascade over your brests they will begin dribbling milk and the pressure causing the pain will ease... ..
Wear a tight fitting bra a cup smaller than you usually wear... it will slightly bind your breasts helping to cut down on milk production...
Get some rice (not minute rice, regular long cooking rice) dry, place a cup to a cup and a half into a ziploc sandwich bag and place in freezer in a couple hours the rice becomes a long lasting cold pack... You can make cloth packs if you want to keep them and reuse again and again... Also makes wonderful hot pack microwave 3-4 minutes and it retains the heat for up to 2 hours (don't try microwaving in plastic bag it melts the bag, but if in a cloth bag works great)...
Your breasts should stop being engorged and painful in about a week when your body finally gets the message that milk production is no longer needed...

You need to wean gradually. Milk production is based on supply and demand. The supply won't stop immediately. Stop 1 feeding today & give him a bottle for that feeding. In a few days, stop another feeding and give a bottle. Don't stop a consecutive feeding. In time you will be able to stop, but not in 1 day.

Kudos to you for keeping at it! Going cold turkey will not only make you cranky and set you up for pain, but it'll make your baby cranky as well. Weaning is best done gradually, cutting out one feeding at a time - saves you pain and saves him fussiness because we know that breastfeeding is not just physical but emotional as well. Your breasts will produce as much milk as you need for him, so when you cut down one feeding at a time, your supply will follow suit.

There is not much. They hurt like hell, but try not to be tempted to let him feed. Your milk supply will slowly dwindle away. It could take about a week for you to feel more comfortable.
Try paracetamol or nurofen, to ease the discomfort.
Good luck.
