My first girlfriend was so loving and devoted she claimed she'd live in a cardboard box with me in China if she had to. Fortunately it never came to that. Since then we have long broken up. I don't think there have been too many to any girls that could say the same. It's too bad I let her go. Oh well such is the modern delimma. I bet there aren't too many people who could say the same as my first girlfriend did. More than infidelity financial reasons is the number one reason for divorce. But I'm willing to be romantic enough to ask this question and she if there are people out there this devoteed to do such a thing. Think about it seriously for a minute. Don't be quick but meditate on what it would be like. Many could say they would but few would be able to actually do it.

I don't think the point is to live in a cardboard box together but if it came down to it would the person love you enough to do so. I cannot blame the person who would not but it would be ideal to mutually love someone that much.

I have said some lines similar to this one myself and come to think of it never meant it. It was a dialogue for the moment and made the other person happy. Nice, sweet white lie and it did not hurt anyone.

other girls don't say that because it's absurd. that was just some cheesy romantic thing to say at the time. yes, she had strong feelings for you, but she wouldn't have done it, at least not for long, and neither would any sane person on the planet. when you get a little bit older you'll realize that.

If he truly loved me, he would do EVERYTHING in his power, to make sure we never got into that position. She never lived in that box with you, did she? I think that is too much to ask anyone to do. What kind of future is there? Children? They like to play in boxes, but I don't think they should have to live in one.I think your girlfriend was speaking metaphorically.

Every single moment i will spent with my significant other. The closer, the better. If we in a card box, there'll be warmth and love. He will always be in my sight and close to me. everywhere i look he will be.
