5-7 years, but sometimes it depends on what state you got the points in.

Its a weird system in the UK - 3 years that points are valid are on the licence although you cannot get them removed for 4 years after the offence. The exception is drink driving points which are valid for 10 years but cant be removed for 11 years. But insurance companies ask you to declare all points for the past 5 years - confused ???? Yep - so am I .

In the Uk points remain valid for 3 years. points you got in the previous 3 years are added together and if you reach 12 you get disqualified. (unless you are luck and plead hardship at court and the magistrate believes you.) Anything over 3 years does not count towards the total. If you get caught drink driving they should disqualify you, if you get your licence back you start with no points.
if you have passed your driving test ion the last two years you only need 6 points to be disqualified.
you only need to worry about points you obtained in the past 3 years.

five years normally (in the UK). So far, all my points have matured nicely at that age.

If you did something reeeaally bad then maybe they will give you your own special long-expiry points, but if it's just a speed camera then it's five years.

If you got your points in the post rather than handed to you by a judge, then your points are normal.

if it's in the UK, minor offences up to and including speeding is 3 years.

Others are longer DR10 is drunk in charge and 10 years

IN9 is non insured and 9 years and so on.
