i have this pain in my stomach that started about 5 or 6 hours ago and i know its not diarrea. i thought it just might be cramps but they usually dont last this long. i took a tylenol and went to bed cuz i thought i would feel better but im still having these pains, any ideas on what it is or if its anything serious?

Well if tylenol isn't helping the pain it sounds serious. Perhaps you could have an ulcer. If it is in the side of your stomach or what have you ...could be something major. Either way, i think you should go see a dr. May be food poisoning or flu setting in, but to be safe get it checked out

My son had that pain, then ended up having emergency surgery for an appendicitis. The pain doesn't have to be on the right side but he did have a fever and threw up once along the way. Do you have a fever? Pain is telling you to get help, no matter what it is. Go to the hospital emergency room right away, if you have no way to go, call 911 for an ambulance.

Abdominal pain can represent complaints that range from the trivial (hunger pains, anxiety or viral pains) to the catastrophic (ruptured appendix, peritonitis, abscess, leaking (ruptured) abdominal aortic aneurysm.

You are your best guide to how well or unwell you are.

You should probably see a doctor, if only for reassurance.

If you are very unwell, you might prefer to go straight to a hospital Emergency Department rather than go to your local doctor only to be referred in.

If you are critically unwell, just call an ambulance!

Buy a bottle of Cayolene and Morphine. If that doesnt work I suggest you go to your doctor at once.

Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
