You could visit both, but Scotland is more traditional and
a little cheaper. I would suggest, to start off, The Travel
Inn group, they are clean, good attendance and cheap.
There are several all over GB, but try Dundee Travel Inn
it is on the water side and it is very nice and traditional.
In London, stay at the one by the bus and train station
a little way from the center, it is cheaper but still within
walking distance to the center. Have a nice time. Cheers Iain.

super Britain would not contain Northern eire - the call of the rustic is the united kingdom of super Britain and northern eire. super Britain isn't a geographical term - it quite is a call that in the time of basic terms got here into use following the Act of Union between England and Scotland in 1707. The geographical term in uncertain, however the appropriate may be the British Isles and includes all of the islands. The Hebrides, the Shetland Islands and the Orkney Islands (not interior the singular as there are various islands in each group) etc.are actually not crown dependencies is by using the fact they have never had their own parliaments or been interior the direct possession of the Crown. The CI are the relax area of the previous Duchy of Normandy.

If you're driving, why not get the Superfast ferry from Zeebrugge to Rosyth in Scotland, tour around Scotland for a few days, then work your way South through England and across the Channel by ferry or tunnel to get back to mainland Europe?
I would love an adventure like that, especially by motorbike.

If you're going in the summer, England - Scotland is full of biting midges at that time of year. They are both part of the same country, and there is lots to see - travel links in england are easier - some of scotland is quite remote and you'll need a car (that said, it's beautiful). England - london, Stratford on Avon, birthplace of Shakespeare, lots of real castles, english pubs, and of course the hospitality!

I have never been to Scotland and I know it's probably really nice over there, but I think you should come to England. I strongly recommend visiting places like Stonehenge, ancient castles and churches (check out the national trust website to see the almost neverending list). The list goes on forever - good luck on your holiday! x

It depends on how long you are here and what you want to see.
But i am biased so i will say England.Go to the lake district for sheer majestic beauty.Visit Ullswater and Grasmere. Then come over to Yorkshire and visit York, the north yorkshire moors and the bohemian town of Hebden Bridge.
I will list a photosite that may help you.

apart from the fact that scotland is the most beautiful country , particularly the west coast and islands, it is also the most welcoming. 9 out of ten scots will nod or say hello when passing in the street whereas the further south you go everyone has a blank expression as if they are scared to speak to strangers.

They are very close together, so why not visit both. If you can only visit one then make it Scotland, just for the weather. The weather in England can be really crappy at any time of the year, but Scotland is beautiful always.
