get one of those solar battery tenders at a car parts store, and some kind of 12 volt motor, and demonstrate solar energy?

Take a nail big house building nail 16d that's 16 penny why I don't know take small insulated wire 22ga and leave one end sticking out to connect to a battery one of those big round 3 volt batteries.
Wrap the wire around the nail the whole length one time, then take another nail the same size and do the same thing once but wrap the wire back to the beginning and back (third layer or winding and back again so you have 4 layers where both wires are at the head of nail.
Now you have to study why electricity in a winding around a metal post will create a magnet because that what you have just made, The one with just one winding will be weaker then the one with four windings.
Why??? Everything will not be given to you look it up under Google and Wiki and earn it

You get modelling wood planes like they give you in schools called aircraft modelling, you can paint them tastefully.
