Holiday from work, great food, family (good and bad LOL), football, and a Parade from NYC in the morning.
Cold turkey sandwiches on cheap white bread with Miracle Whip that night. Some traditions go beyond taste. haha

Can't improve on Twig's answer too much except to say that turkey is the traditional main item, along with cranberry sauce, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and whatever else you can think of.

Getting together with friends and family, having a turkey, maybe a ham too, and lots of other food with them. No school, no work, lots of things are closed.
