you are ready when you don't have a desire to be w anyone else but the person you are in love with. you spend a majority of you time thinking of this person. when they are gone you find yourself feeling like something is missing. just hearing their voice on the phone makes a bad day suddenly good. when you are with them nothing else matters. when you are with this person you feel a happiness and a high that was never there before. you click on all levels. you feel complete.

Look at yourself and think "Am I really prepared to work with this person to build a life with him/her and still love them?" If you really think you're ready for that kind of responsibility, then you're probably ready. But if not, then try keeping the relationship steady until you do. However, if you can't visualize being with that particular person, then maybe you shouldn't be with them. I'm not saying you should break up, just that maybe you shouldn't marry him/her.

hmm? I knew my husband for years before I married him, so the next morning after our marriage, I looked in the mirror thinking Id see someone new.. it was the same old me. nothing new but a peice of paper.. Actually I dont know if theres a "ready for marriage" norm ideal or not.. I assume if you can both happily decide if you are finacially able to have a 2 folk household and deal with the emotional, and financial responsibilities. go for it.

When you are emotionally secure, can pay a mortgage and be faithfull and have an unlimited capacity to love and be loved.

when you cant stop thinking about this person you want them to be a part of you and your life when you can see them being the father of your children and when you want to wake up to them every day for the rest of your life

if you know everything both good and bad about your spouse-to-be and still love him and can imagine growing old with him, then you are ready.
