why are some guys jerks?
when you dump them they seem to not get it why is that and when they do they smart the name calling game?
can a guy just be friends with a girl?
how should i break up with some one? harsh words like a knife throught the heart or in a nicer tone?

Try to be sweet. You cannot stop someone from being a jerk, you just have to plan for it. But some people are not jerks, and it may be that you need to get into a different area of society. Anyway try to be sweet. See how sweet you can get. At the same time you need to get smart. Just be really sweet on the outside and smart on the inside.
You may want to consider changing your whole circle of friends. Try meeting people that are respectful. You ought to make that your big priority right now.

some guys are immature. a real man would accept the break-up and move on. when they start the name calling they think that it will hurt you like you hurt them. it's hard to go back and be "just friends" after having a deeper relationship w them. when breaking up w someone honesty is best. be nice but be firm. be sure to give them a reason why you are doing it. there is no need for harsh words. you have to be considerate of the other person's feelings and put yourself in their shoes.

No one wants to feel rejected and when you dump someone, that's exactly how you are making them feel. Unfortunately, some guys do resort to name calling and acting like jerks... that's probably the only way they can feel like they had some say in the breakup. And yes, I think a guy can just be friends with a girl, as long as he's not attracted to her. So unless you have a huge hump on your back... a guy will be somewhat attracted to you. So no guy friends for you. (just kidding) Good luck on your future relationships and breakups.
