Keep ur skin non-oily..that's the core word
Use face-wash for oily skin (lakme matt efect is a good one,so is garnier) during bath...or wipe ur face with shehnaz hussain's cleanser (it's wonderful)put in a cotton ball. After that put shehnaz hussain's toner on a cotton ball & apply all over the face. Do it twice or thrice daily. Dont forget at the night before sleeping bcoz that's the time when the oil secretion is maximum. Do this regularly for a month or do..& see the difference. It worked for me..n I pray it works for you too..GOOD LUCK

The rude shock in the mirror
You wake up in the morning, stumble to the basement and wash your sleepy face. As you wipe it dry with a towel, you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror, and let out a loud groan. No, you're not having a bad face day. It's something much worse than that. It's the (shudder!) biggest darned pimple you've ever seen in your life! Ugh! Where did you go wrong?
What causes a Pimple?
A number of things can cause a pimple:
* An improper diet that includes too many soft drinks, spicy and fried food and snacks with high iodine content
* Pores clogged by dirt or pollution
* Stress
* Hormonal changes due to menstruation
* Genes - blame it on the folks
Prevention is better than cure:
Wash Right
Wash your face regularly, not more than 3 times a day, unless you're living in a highly humid and/or polluted city which requires more washing to unclog pores. The best way to wash the face is to first lather your face-wash in your hands, apply it to wet skin and rinse. Pat dry. Scrubbing only aggravates the skin and causes further problems.
Cleansing Routine
Cleanse, tone and moisturise your face twice a day. Don't skip the moisturising step even if you have oily skin - just use an oil-free moisturiser.
Exposure to the elements
Avoid exposing your skin to the harsh elements. If you are going for a long drive, roll up your window slightly, so your face doesn't get plummeted by the wind, especially in polluted towns.
Water
Drink plenty of water to detox your system. Impure blood and poor circulation is one of the primary causes of acne.
Eat Right
Unless you are allergic to certain foods, eating junk food doesn't lead to the formation of pimples. But overeating certain foods, especially heating foods like chocolates and mangoes, can lead to an overnight zit congregation.
Get rid of that zit - ice ice baby!
No! Don't burst it! That's the worst thing you can do! It may solve your problem temporarily so you won't go to that dinner with a large white bud blossoming on your mug, but the scar will remain for a long, long time. Instead, try wrapping an ice cube in a thin muslin cloth and place it for about three minutes on a pimple that is just forming. It kills the growth of the pimple. Believe it, it is true.
If a pimple does burst accidentally (or intentionally!), wash the area with soap. Then reach for a lemon slice and squeeze ten drops into a cotton ball. Keep it on the burst pimple for about 10 minutes. The scar will vanish.
Lime n' Lemony
Lemon maintains the pH balance of skin, and it is a good idea to give your face a rinse of lemon water once a day. Just squeeze half a lemon into half a mug of water and splash it on your face. Rinse off the residue with regular water.

I've had the same problem before. Use an Ayurvedic product called Chanthik. It is available in all Medical or Departmental Stores. Use it with Rose Water and it will give your face an extra shine. Use it twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. It really works but will take some time. The first time you use it it will make your pimples come out but that is just in the beginning. Start using it regularly and you will feel your face looks a lot better. Really. I'm not bluffing. TRY IT.

DON'T SQUEEZE IT. Keep the spot clean and detox by eating your five-a-day fruit and veg and drinking plenty of water.
Try a 3-in-1 medicated wash before carrying out your make-up routine. and dont use too mch make-up.
wash your face with an oil control face wash .. and wash your face frequently to keep the extra oil out.. at the same time dont wash sooo much that your dry your skin out!! if you have a couple of nasty zits.. try toothpase.. it might sound stupid.. but..apply some toothpaste on your zit bfore you sleep and when you wake up in the morning it will look much better.. toothpaste reduces redness of the pimple and dries it out! You can also dab Tea Tree Oil on the spots..! You can also try pimple zapping products available in the market.. try.. clean & clear ( thay have some good oil control skin caare products)..Clearasil is good too.. and Do try Proactive IT WORKS!!! If this stuff doesnt help you try going to a skin specialist! All the Best!

You could reduce the occurence of pimples through natural methods.
Drink lots of water and fresh juices daily. These fluids can flush out the toxins in your body. Avoid oily food. Always tie up your hair into a pony tail to avoid spreading oily secretion all over your face.
Wash your face daily with a good acne product after waking up in the morning and before retiring to bed. Don't forget to wash your face even when you return back home from outside.
It's very important that you exercise regularly to improve circulation. Do not break the pimples. Breaking them could leave nasty blemishes on your face.
Apply a paste of turmeric powder on the pimples before going to sleep and wash it off in the morning.
I hope these tips may help you out as it did to me. Incase it doesn't work for you, visit another dermatologist please.

This is hard, because you have already seen a Doctor.
When I was 15 I had an acne breakout. Then my Dermatologist prescribed Panoxyl 5. Now there is a whole line and you can get it over the counter.
I stayed home from school for a week.My acne had dried enough for me to venture out in public again.
It worked for me,it might for you.
Good Luck

for this cleansing is the most imp NOW,DANDRUF ALSO CAUSE PIMPLES .so if you have them get rid of them first
Cleansing
Cleansing is the first essential step in your daily skin care routine.
Cleansing the face 2-3 times a day; is adequate for normal skin. If your skin is oily a more frequent cleansing i.e. 4-5 times a day is necessary. If your skin is dry it is best to avoid frequent washing and you may have to use a suitable oil-based cosmetic cleanser instead of soap, which has a dry effect.
There are several alternatives to soap and water cleansing. Cleansers can be in the form of creams, milks, lotions, gels and liquids. All are, a mixture of oil, wax and water which have been formulated to suit different skin types. A cotton -pad dipped in fresh milk available at home, is an equally effective cleanser.
The right way to apply cleansers and creams on your face is in an upward and outward movement. The skin should not be stretched, dragged or pulled. Leave the cleanser on for a minute or two so as to loosen the dirt and make up. Remove it either using a cotton wool or with a tissue paper, again using an upward and out ward movement. Finally rinse with water.
Masks
Basically all face masks have some sort of a cleansing action. Various ingredients are used in the masks, depending on the skin type. Clay, form an important constituent of many face masks. They help to remove dirt, sebum, and dead skin so that the skin looks clean, soft and youthful.
Fullers earth is a special type of clay often used in face packs. It contains aluminium silicate. As it dries on the skin, it absorbs the superficial dead cells and blots up any excessive oil on the skin. It is therefore excellent for an oily skin but should not be used on dry skin. Kaolin is also a fine clay which has been used for tummy upsets because it absorbs toxins from the system. It removes grime, oils and dead cells. Kaolin is also best for oily skin and best avoided for dry skin.
Another ingredient of some of the masks is the peeling or the exfoliating agent-these remove the top layer of dead cells from the skin, leaving behind fresh youthful skin. Oatmeal and bran are the commonly used peelers. Oatmeal is obtained from oats which is rich in Vitamin B and Vitamin
Freshening
The skin care products include cosmetics like skin fresheners, toners and astringents which basically contains alcohol and water. These products are used after cleansing the skin to freshen and tone up the skin, they also restore the acid/ alkali balance of the skin. Having cleansed, wipe away any last traces of dirt or oil with a skin freshener or toner (cleansing milk) which suits your skin type. Non alcoholic freshener are for dry and sensitive skin. Those with alcohol (astringent) are for oily skin. People with combination skin should use toner and astringent.
Mosturising
Regular use of a suitable moisturiser benefits your skin. The moisturiser not only replaces the water lost from the skin but also prevents its loss to the surroundings. It protects the skin against the drying influences of the environment such as the effects of the sun, cold and heat. Tinted moisturiser are very helpful under foundation. It always keep the make up moist.
A moisturiser is particularly helpful for dry skins. Oil free moisturisers can be used for oily skins.
There are two types of moisturisers: Oil - in water emulsions and water -in -oil emulsions. The moisturiser you select should suit your skin type. For normal skins, a water based moisturiser containing a little oil is suitable. Sensitive skins and dry skins need moisturisers having a high oil content.
Protecting
The sun, is the environmental factor that is most harmful to the health and appearance of the skin. Ultraviolet radiation from sunlight can cause permanent damage to the skin. It can cause the skin to sag, lose elasticity and form wrinkles. Severe sunburn can even cause skin cancer.
Sunscreen and foundation protects the skin against the damaging ultraviolet rays. It also shields your face from direct contact with dirt or pollutants in the air and helps the skin against loosing its necessary moisture.
Sunscreen's come in lotions and creams. A sunscreen with the sun protection factor (SPF) of number 10 can block most of the sun's ultraviolet radiations before it can damage the skin. The SPF number indicates the length of time, the product will protect the skin. Sunscreen's should be applied at least 10 minutes before you go out in the sun.
take good care
