I have bin friends with this guy for a while and we have spent loads of time chatting and hanging out. We get on really well and have loads in common. Anyways I told him tht I liked him and he said tht he liked me to but wasn't ready for a relationship, he started telling me about how he had been hurt in the past etc etc. Anyways I just took it tht he didn't really like me in tht way and jus didn't wanna hurt my feelings. So recently I have got back with my ex and my friend seems really hurt he said tht he took wht I said seriously but it's obvious tht I didn't. Does tht mean tht he does or at least did like me?

you guys created a bond of friendship then you decided to change the whole meaning by suggesting a relationship which he considered having even though he said so indirectly he gave it thought because he could trust you based on the friendship you had so i think you didn't mean it you mistook your feelings or the closeness between the both of you for a 'crush' just apologize for going back to your ex an suggest you guys remain friends. remember a guys heart can only be broken so many times don't do anything else to make him hate you for life. good luck

Well I think that it is obvious that he likes you. Generally when people get out of relationships they like to have time to take a brake especially when it was a longer relationship. I also think it would help that if you really did like him that you prove to him that you really like him and you won't hurt him. If your not serious about your ex I would suggest getting out of that as soon as possible if you ever want to be with this guy. Hes already hurt that he thought you liked him so its going to be harder for him to trust you now but if you really like him then I would say give it a try. Good Luck!!!!!

Just to clarify.
I will use symbols for person.
You = X
He = Y
Ex-BF = Z

X told Y she likes him, Y did the same but said he is hesitant.
X gets back with Z, Y upset.

Now the reason Y would be upset is that he does like X, otherwise why would he care?

This assumes that all people are sane and rational

dude you just screwed yourself up! lol man i can't believe you took it like that lol..well when someone says "i got hurt in the past" that means "im afraid to get hurt"...whether it comes from a man's mouth or a gal..it doesn't mean "i don't want a relationship"...otherwise he'd say that...

he likes you, you fd him over, that is horrible that you would do that. You went back with a person you broke up with because you didnt love him and this man who likes you and poured his heart to you doesnt get the chance. When a girl is honest with us we try hard to keep her, when a guy is girls should do the same. You do not know anything about men. please dump your boyfriend/exboyfriend and learn men before you date.

when that guy knew you love him, he had not felt happy and tell you some of his formerly ex's story, I think you not his target .

He doesn't quite know what he wants.... he didn't like you "that way"- but he doesn't want anybody else to like you "that way" either. Obviously- he seems to want you "that way" now... do you still want him "that way"? ... or did he miss his chance? C'est la vie.
