Some people who have asked this question on Yahoo, make the claim that it's either the British or Israelis. The experts around the world however (Including Jane's intelligence online, a British publication), say that the US Military (all branches) are the best trained and equipped in the world. Israel is often cited as number 2, and Britian number 3. Then comes China and France.
I tend to believe the experts rather then the many uninformed and biased blogers on Yahoo.

I thought Israel does, but they were defeated in Lebanon. I think hezbollah is the best

Wealth/Emonation/facilities wise USA is the best but that doestn't mean USA army is the best. Best we can Judge in War so far USA army is Zero, no mission is completed so far.
Israel's army belived to be the 2, but they have also failed in war against few people which don't airforce,no emonation....
U.K is also failed in Iraq, recently their General has stated that U.K army is serious threat to Iraq security.
France and China are left and yet to decide.....which one is best.

In Israel, everybody serves in the army. They are well trained and prepared. Even all flights on El-AL (their national airline) travel with armed soldiers...long before 9-11.

honestly i do believe it is the United States. the only reason i say this, is because it is a proven fact that we train other country's militaries. my bf is from El Salvador, and when he was in the army there he trained in North Carolina. my dad was in the navy and trained with Iraqi, Iranian, and Israeli soliders. so because i'm proud of all of our troops here, and because we train the world's military personnel....the United States by far is the best trained military in the world!

USA. We're rich, having willing citizens that love their country, weapons galore, some of the best trainers & military personnel, etc.
Just look at who wins all of the wars. ;)

US military is well equipped with the best weapon and technologies but not necessary well trained soldiers.

Isreal never crossed my mind i thought it would be USA then JAPAN OR CHINA then i have no clue what would be the 3rd so on.
