We dont need people to do these low paying jobs as they state!

The #1 problem people dont get sometimes is that it is big buisness that is driving this problem

Can a (middle class) american keep there job and get paid well and while getting paid well can big buisness still make money?

hell ya

LOOK AT KELLOGS 20$ an hour and all the overtime you want...... They make profit and so can any company they dont have to surpress your wage my wage and any wage at that. Hiring illegals isnt the only problem its capping big buisness for ruining the economy.

We can no longer have familys of 12 like the baby boomer days because these days both (middle class familys have to work) not to mention that a middle class has no respective job anymore it can easily be taken from an illegal. So our middle class is basically becoming non-exsistant Why should i or any other american pay the medical, schooling or anything and everything including welfare to greedy people?

Interesting that you use Kellogg's as an example, look at what they sell, processed grain. Most grains sell for next to nothing, they process it package it and sell it at a huge mark up. I'm not say there's anything wrong with that, people buy it because there is value in what they produce. However, this gigantic difference in what it cost them to make their product and what they can charge for it is very rare and likely the reason they can pay well enough. That said, I'm no industry expert so this is just speculation.

Apart from big business profits driving down wages so are you as the consumer. The market place is very competitive and retailers like walmart are pretty ruthless in driving down prices. Companies that want to compete in this market place have to cut costs to be competitive, many times that means looking for cheaper labor either domestically or abroad.

If consumers would only purchase items made domestically, in production facilities that payed/treated workers fairly then companies would need to be like Kellogg's to be competitive. This is not the reality as generally speaking people are going to buy the best product at the cheapest price.

Interesting dynamic happening now. Historically one of the things that made the US the worlds greatest economy was people like Henry Ford actually paying his workers a decient wage. It was one of the first times in history that laborers could actually afford to buy the product they make. With more people having money to participate in the economy, the economy just sontinued to grow. I will be interesting to see where these trends take us.

Your question is not "REALLY" a question rather a statement. Basically, the U,S, governmen allowed these illegals here to make way for the "National ID card" they were so intent on. Also,a cashless society was in the works, BUT all of the immigrants have "basically" put a hold on that temporarally! All of the beaners in this country is NOT by accident! It was planned AND orchestrated by the U.S. government to "ANGER" the citizens in to accepting "MORE" control and "Security" which is REALLY LESS "Security". This has been going on since the time when NERO was emperor of Rome!!! He had Rome burned, blamed it on the Christians and had them killed in the colliseum! Got paid too! Hitler burned the Richstagh, blamed it on the Jews, and in the process killed MILLIONS!!! We call it the "Holocaust" Our own "Beloved" Government has done the same with OKC and 911.Ever wonder why NONE of the 12 surveilence cameras were used against Tim McVie in his "Trial" He was a scapegoat! The "Middle Eastern Man" that was later dismissed as "non-existing" was an operative by the name of Al Husseini. He ALSO worked as a baggage handler in Boston Airport on 9-11! If you would like MORE info as to what YOUR Government is up to, go to www.infowars.com I sincerely hope you sleep well! I have not, for 12 years now! INVESTIGATE and INFORM!! OR Remain Ignorant and Docile! You CHOOSE!!! Again, www.infowars.com

Illegals take jobs that Americans with low skills could do for a livable wage. H1-B workers take IT jobs at the corporate level that our college grads could take but the H1-B workers are sponsored by big corp. and paid low wages. Americans are getting royally screwed at the low skilled AND at the higher skilled jobs. We are all being forced into lower wages. By paying Americans a decent wage they would have more buying power, more money would go into the U.S. revenue, more tax would be paid on those wages, sales tax on consumer items, the higher wages would keep the Americans off welfare.

What you said about Kellogg's is probably right. Plus, those workers pay taxes, make enough money NOT to be on welfare and can purchase with that wage adding revenue to the economy. (The produce....corn, wheat, rice, etc.... would be harvested by Americans at a higher wage giving THEM buying power, more fed.taxes paid, little or no welfare recipients.) A win-win stituation.

Also, Germany has already perfected automation to replace many of the jobs illegals do. We could automate and not require so many workers in low paying jobs.

Let me tell you a little something, the reason we won't do those jobs is because we can get better ones that pay more! Illegals have come here against our rules and laws, they hide from our government, and in order to fit in to a country they are welcome in, they undercut all of our wages by atleast half (usually MUCH more). Then in order to make up for the low wages, they live 20-knee-deep in a 2 bedroom apartment, fit 10 men into apickup they all share, live off of our welfare and free medical and social services. So they make HUGE profits by their own standards, and they've driven THOUSANDS of Americans off jobs they once held by their low wages.

If that's not sneaky I don't know what is. No wonder we won't do the jobs, we did when employers paid normal wages.

well said, let me be one to call you a racist since i know its coming from those damn illegals anyways.

with that said, middle class is history yo uare either the working poor, upper class, or illegal which grades higher then any of us. for the may only make so called 4 an hour, but if you tack the free insurance, the free schooling, the free lunches in school, the free welfare checks the pick up every month

then a total i am sure it goes up to well over 30 an hour. that is why they can go out and get a house without a problem, how can you have bad credit if you are illegal, you have someone elses from there SSN you stole. you get the point right

good question by the way

No, Mexicans aren't the only group coming into the US illegally but they're by far the largest. You're correct that this country is made of immigrants from around the world but the thing is that the majority of them came to America the proper way. My family waited months to cross the Atlantic and then spent who knows how long being processed before they were finally allowed in the country. That's what gets me irritated about the whole thing. My family waited in line so why shouldn't everyone else? Why are Mexicans any different?

Who do think plants and harvests the corn for Kellogg's?
When you speak of greed, have you thought about how greedy you appear to be? If anyone is to blame for the situation of our economy it is the government. Every idea they have come up with to better the quality of life in this country has done nothing except put us closer to disaster! Our land, water and air is polluted and vile. Our leaders are corrupt, they lie, they intimmidate and people have died. If people would use as much energey to research and find the truth then work togather to change things we'd all be better off by far. But it is easier to play "follow the leader"
