i would like you to tell my father this and my mother who lost there jobs last year to illegal people who take cheaper pay. Not only are they out of work because the size of the town but they had to relocate to find work not to mention the very house my father built with his own hands he had to sale because he couldnt afford the taxes and bills that go with it because your people came across and stole his job
You say stopping immigrants increases world poverty? I say that first with out being mean you should go back home and make your area where ever it may be and make it better for yourself. YOur proud of your homeland correct?? I would be because thats where i am from and i am proud even when goverment makes problems there is still no place like home! I encourage you to go back home and make your own place a better place to live i know its not easy as my father and mother are going threw a tuff time as well but its not fair to the middle class that have these jobs when your people come here and undercut them leaving them poor.
Go home be productive and live your life to the best you can.

Hey whats the difference between legal and Illegal Immigration other that the obvious 10.000 dollars and 3 days to get here into the states. Most of these poor people pay thousands of dollars to come here and to bring their family here also illegally. then they come here and get into the system and live free on our tax dollars. I know in the bible It said That ( God helps those that help themselves) But coming here are they not breaking most of the 10 commandants. There is nothing wrong with legal Immigration its the Illegal Immigration I have a problem with. So if you want to stop world poverty go to Mexico or to the other Countries and march and demonstrate in their streets and see how long you live. Before someone from their Government puts a bullet in your head.

America, our great country was built from the ground up by IMMIGRANTS. Immigrant ion has always been an issue since day one but there were no real immigration laws until the 1930's.
All of these laws from back in day until now have been motivated by FEAR and HATE and have been very UNCHRISTIAN like.
All immigrant groups (yes, even those blond hair/blue eye Germans) have been treated with disrespect, hate, and fear by the American establishment.
It is sad that even now ignorance, fear, and hate motivate many Americans. What a big disappointment that now we have forgotten that our IMMIGRANT forefather had to go through the same @#$! like the Immigrants of today!

no it isn't un-christian. why do you think christians send missionaries to every where in the world, and teach about god and how to live and take care of yourself? if immigrants worked as hard in their own country as they do to get here illegally or legally, there wouldn't be as much poverty. did you ever think of that? besides, what does religion have to do with immigration anyway? i think you are looking for every excuse to be against immigration policy.....i think you need to get over yourself and see that immigration causes just as much poverty in the country they are going to (illegally or not) as it would if they weren't able to move to a new country. just because they may make more money here, doesn't mean anything other than they took a job from a citizen of that country and caused that citizen to go without and in turn become impoverished.

How does it increase world poverty? There are only so many people you can take into the lifeboat before it sinks.
And how is poverty "unchristian"? Jesus wasn't exactly a wealthy dude.

There is no international relationship with world poverty and immigration (possibly meager or few). Immigrants are not from under developed countries they are coming out from developing countries, where they seek high standrad of living. Due to globalisation and UN, US and UK Queens effort, no povery willl exist in future, with best wishes.

it's not immigration that's the problem, it's illegal immigration. We have a right to secure our borders as Mexico and the rest of the world secure their own. There is nothing in Christianity that insists that anyone pay anothers way through this world. And rather than pick on the US, maybe you should be asking Mexicans and other third world countries why they can't pull their heads out of their asses and fix their own countries so that millions of their citizens wouldn't have to risk theior lives escaping from their sh*thole countries.
You won't though because it makes you feel good to diss America and Christians.

Separation of church and state.
Standing in a church doesn't make you Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.
