Does he like me?

There's this kid at school. We sit near each other in two of our classes, so we talk a lot. Sometimes I start the conversation, sometimes he does.

When I talk to him, he always makes direct eye contact and always listens to me. Even when I'm making one of those comments that's directed towards someone else at our table, I can see that he's listening incase no one responds and he needs to.

He's one of those really cute and really popular kids that almost EVERY girl likes. We don't exactly run in the same circles.

During the two periods we sit next to each other we act like friends, but outside of those classes, we don't talk, even though we have all of our other classes together.

Like I said, I don't really hang out with him, so I don't know how he acts around other people. But from what I hear he's generally a really nice guy. I just don't know if he pays attention to others like he does me.

My friends think that he likes me, but I don't think so. Does he like me?

let me grab my crystal ball. I see a dragon, which means power. I see allot of power in this guy. Does he have power in school. I see that deep down he likes you, but has to go out with someone who has more power then you.

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

As it seems you like him. So the question is do you like him coz he's popular? Is it that you are craving for his attention? Since you always get a chance to talk to him, why don't you tell him your mind in a very good way, chances are his reponse will be positive considering that he gives you undivided attention when you talk to him. You know it hurts to like somebody who does not like you back, but what is more it hurts not to let them know!!

and how come he ignores you except in classes when you sit together? is he totally shy? a complete nerd?
I can't understand it. Maybe he has good conversational skills but doesn't know how to do romance.

if your friend seems to think so then i think theres a good possibility its true....we dont perceive things the same when were involved in a situation than those who observe the same situation do...in other words a fresh opinion...or someone looking in from the outside can be an accurate and keen observer....gl...

When you look at him, feel it. What's it like? Do you feel it? Get eye contact. Do you think he feels it?

If your gut feeling isn't enough, then you're not going to end up on the prom stage, or anywhere else with him.
