Hi - impossible to tell. The theory of evolution does not address the questions of a) what started it all or b) where do natural laws come from. Those aren't questions for science. At best science can say that if might be possible for all this to happen with out a first cause but it can't prove or disprove the first cause.
So, I have no opinion but if someone wants to believe in evolution (as I strongly do) and in guided evolution --- then Go For It, Babe. It's as good a theory as any.

Neither. Mutations occur by chance, but they would all perish away if it weren't that a tiny fraction actually add an advantage in dealing with a specific environmental challenge that arises. These environmental challenges (a faster predator, a climate change, a blight on a primary food source, etc.) direct the better adapted to create more offspring and therefore the species evolves.
God is not necessary. But it is hardly random. The environmental selection of more adaptive members of a population that leads to the ability to increase the species' population.

Yes, I believe in God guided evolution. Evolution (which is far beyond man coming from monkeys and some scientists say that's bs anyway) makes sense, and there is a lot of factual evidence to back it up. But I also believe that a higher power started the whole thing and masterminded it. I just can't believe that a big bang came from nothing, it had to be God. I just wish other Christians could understand this two way concept.

Random mutations and the mutation that had the better chance of survival continued. However man has guided evolution since his arrival on the scene. Introducing animals that are not native to stable ecosystems, altering the ecosystems themselves through agriculture. In Africa there is an increase in elephants that naturally have no tusks due to poaching of animals for ivory. There were always a few -just they weren't killed so they have better chance of reproducing.

Evolution is not really about random chance. It involves responses to external stimuli. If god were guiding evolution then there would not be so many extinct animals.

No I don't believe in Evolution, I believe what the Bible Says when in the First Chapter of Genesis it tells us That:"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." After that he Created Adam and Eve, the first humans, no not by Random chance just like your house did not come about by chance!God was involved for sure

Evolution is a hypothesis that really has no hard evidence. I could go into more detail, but if I do, I'll fill up a HUGE column. I recommend you just go to some Creationist websites like Drdino.com or something. That'd probably sum up my views on Evolution.
And anyways, God is a loving God. Why would he "guide" certain "unfavorables" to die? And why do you think it's beyond God to make the world in 6 days?

God spoke it all into existence and if there is evolution in process, it is guided by God - because for anything to be of randomness with no God involved, the odds are far to numerous that mistakes would have left to many oddities along the circus row.

enable's get this at once for a transformation. you have given 2 possibilities, evolution guided via god, or evolution by twist of destiny. those are no longer the only innovations. no person ever pronounced that there is that one among those ingredient as evolution by twist of destiny, different than probable some creationist who become attempting to discredit evolution. Darwinian evolution isn't a huge gamble technique. organic determination is an ANTIchance phenomenon. the only places the place random strategies are important in evolution are: a) the production of mutations, and that's random basically with understand to whether the mutation is powerful under present day circumstances or no longer; b) the distribution of chromosomes to cells at cellular branch, throughout meiosis. people who do no longer settle for the overpowering evidence for evolution have been defined as being willfully ignorant. it quite is, they don't have self assurance it in basic terms because of fact they do no longer want to have self assurance it, no longer because of fact of loss of evidence. thinking god had to steer evolution, like believing in miracles, insults god. it quite is saying that the meant omniscient, all-powerful god did one among those sloppy pastime of his unique advent that he has to maintain continually tinkering with it to make it come out superb.

neither. ----- evolution is guided by NATURAL SELECTION. neither chance nor god has anything to do with how evolution is guided.
in the future, please be more careful not to present false dichotomies like these because they're a tad bit deceitful.
edit:
wow!! i just read over all the answers to this question, and i am so disillusioned by the overwhelming lack of understanding that plagues the common mind in regards to how the process of evolution functions. --- something really needs to change with the way we educate kids,,, or something.
