i weigh about 200 lbs. and i am about 5 feet and 6-8 inches and i am 16 years old.

the only form of exercise i can get is by playing DDR (dance dance revolution)

but i will try any other exercises that are required

also i eat more more meat then i should

i am really trying to lose weight please and thankyou in advance

Try this:

Watch what you eat.

1) eat 5 small meals a day and make sure they are all low in fat, not fried foods. Small meals help your body digest the food better and you dont feel too hungry throughout the day where you will eat a lot in 1 sitting.

2) Walk more. If you like to play DDR, play the maniac levels more over and over again till you can play at the extreme with the arrows hidden.

3) NO PASTA, bananas, rice, carbs 4 hours before you sleep.

4) Dont just play DDR. Try and play Para Para as well. You get a good upper body aerobic exercise as well from Para Para.

5) If you are going to the arcade, try and see if you can get off 1 or 2 bustops earlier then walk the rest of the way.

6) take the stairs. not lifts.

7) NO soft drinks.

8) NO Sweets, popcorn etc...

Simple things like this, will help you start losing weight.

I was going to wholeheartedly agree with Xanadu's answer until she got to the point of telling you not to eat popcorn. Popcorn that is home popped and has very little or no salt or butter is ok to eat. For an interesting breakfast it can also be used as a cereal if there has been no butter used on it.

(DDR ROCKS!!!!!) go vegitarian.
it is SOOOOO easy. i used to be the biggest carnivore, and after a week of no meat, i was fine. yes, i still crave chicken nuggets from time to time, but hey, i think 4 pant sizes in 2 months is worth skipping McDonnalds...and they have soy immitation meat for sandwiches and stuff, and it is pretty good.(and i'm still losing wieght!!!!, ya know, like some diets work really well for like a week and then you don't lose anymore, not this one!)(the one down side, is you need to count your protien grams, or you'll burn out before the end of the day, i think it's about 20 grams a meal! (soy is high in protien, and low in fat))

and drink A LOT of water!!!!

You should really wait until your body is done going through puberty. If you start losing weight now, you'll be as thin as a rail when your done puberty.

always have vegetables on hand saute a big bag of frozen mixed vegetables in olive oil and garlic add some red pepper or turmeric for additional flavor and separate into portion sized containers for the fridge

Add extra 10 or 15 mins to your cardio routine

go running thats really good for you. if you want to loose weight you have to exercise.
cut down on the meat and eat fruits and evgetables. not just but have more of them.
eat a veriaty of food.
but you have to do more exercise then dance revolution
