what I find profoundly amusing, and utterly hilarious, is that people such as that make that video (and similar) actually think they are any different.
they think simply declaring something as delusional... is different from religious people declaring what they believe is simply so.
and they are too closed minded to conceive that there are people who can perceive that there are people who have awareness beyond the 5 organic senses.
>>"That's a distinct possibility but people who have a personal relationship with God through Christ are definitely on the right track. "<<
so close, yet so far. the personal relationship with god, is right. but you don't have to go through jesus any more than jesus himself did.
declaring that God is unilaterally a delusion, is just as much of a faith-based belief as the view that God is real.
well, actually its even more faith based. I can't affirmatively experience that god IS NOT there. I CAN affirmatively experience that what I belive in as God, IS there. even if I can't prove it to you, at least it can be experienced to me.

Yes, I watched it and answered that same question already tonight.

I gave that video a full viewing. It was well done, but contained some basic flaws. Because it assumes there is no God, divine actions are referred to as 'magical'. Christians do not believe, generally, in magic. Doesn't matter what you call it, that's not how we see it.
It states it's own perspective as undisputed fact, and draws what it decides are logical conclusions, defining things as it chooses. Ironically, it accuses religion of doing the same thing.
Mostly, it ignores the fact that many Christians have experienced the touch of God in their lives. Who are you or anyone to tell us such things did not happen? Are you truly that blindly arrogant?
And if your best retort is "Why do bad things happen?" I have to tell you that is a good question. But God's choice to do or not do anything is not logical or empirical evidence of existence one way or another. Just because we don't understand everything about God does not mean He doesn't exist. Our beliefs are based on what we do know. Even science does that. Do you discard scientific evidence because the information you have does not yet answer all your questions?
The video reminded me of a lot of 'conspiricy videos' I've seen. "If you just look at everything the way we do, how could any thinking person come to any other conclusion?"

That's a distinct possibility but people who have a personal relationship with God through Christ are definitely on the right track. There IS a BIG difference between most religions and true relationship with God. When a person comes to God through CHrist, that person becomes more and more conformed to the image of Christ as he grows in faith - and Jesus was (and still is) the most emotionally, intellectually, mentally, psychologically "together" and mature person who lived.

I think the guy talking on the video is delusional and sounds gay. Do you have nothing better to do than try to prove that God does not exist? There is nothing delusional about God! And when Jesus comes back, we will see just how delusional all Christians really are. God Bless

While I do believe every word that video has to say (including the fact that a belief in god is detrimental to our society), to call Christians "delusional" is quite rude and demeans their belief.
I know he's fighting fire with fire on his website and his videos are fascinating in their rationality, but it's so inflammatory, it hurts our argument against religion. Believe in god if you wish... but just don't pass laws based on your belief and we'll be okay.

In general yes, but I don't fault them for it. They have been lied to endlessly and generally brainwashed since infancy. They have little chance of escaping it unless they unplug themselves from the matrix. To do that, they have to be shown the cracks in the system so they can figure it out for themselves.

No.They're just frightened by the thought of being held accountable for all the so-called''EVIL'' in the world. So they need an entity(theDEVIL)to blame and they need another entity(GOD) to come and clean it up.they are petrified at the thought of being alone and coming to the realization that you only have one life.

Fantastic video.
If you haven't seen the south park episode making fun of mormon's, check it out.
Religion is completely fictional.
Believe in god if you wish, not religion.
