it puts your call on hold and 'flashes' to another line when someone else is calling you. it's popular for 3-way calling, where if you're on the phone with someone, you can press the flash button and dial another number, then flash back and all 3 people can talk at the same time.

Are you kidding me? This has got to be a joke! The Flash button is used to check your other line when you have another caller. OMG

when a call comes through......... if and only when you have call waiting you just push that button and it allows you to answer that that other call...........instead of pushing the talk button and taking chances of hanging up on them!!!!!!! hope that helps!!!!!!

it only will work if you got this feature from your telephone provider! and if you do, press it, and you have the 2nd party on the phone...press it again, and you have 3 way calling!!!

you can only use it if you have 3 way-calling, and that cost money!
