You are wanting to get better and you are excepting that the way you feel is not right. Congradulations, that is the first step for getting better. For those who have never expereince depression they are lucky. But for us who have been there I know similar to the way you may feel. For starters it is up to you to get out off it because you can have all the cousiling in the world and it won't make a difference but you still need support to get you strong enough to get there. I didn't want to go on pills either I felt that was a sign of weakness, it's not, you may just need something to help you to get through the day to make your head clear. If you don't want presciption drugs try naturalpathe, I've been told vitiam B is good, it didn't work for me. Make sure you also get some sun on to your face, it's a natural high also find a way to let your feelings out say them outloud, write them down, sing it in a song, play your favorite music, Talk to a counsiler or a close friend, call a help line. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, sometimes you can slip back but you will know the tools to fight it. Go out and do a class at the local gym you will may feel a little bit better when it has finished, you have achieved something, that is something no one can take away. It's a good stress release too. It takes time to heal and you need the tools to do it but it's not impossible. Find something that you can do for you that makes you happy(I watch a funny movie, or excape into a book) anything that works for you try to avoid alcohol or drugs because they won't make you feel better they will make you numb(not good) and you will feel worst when it wears off. I hope you find those certain things that will help you

good luck fight you deserve it

Been there myself! Exercise everyday--keep it simple, count stairs, walks from the outer edge of the parking lot, whatever. Eat right & get off alcohol--but pot might help if you're of age. Eat as right as you can--I know, it's not easy to give up the sweets. Do nice little things for your self--Watch the comedy channel. Make sure you get enough sunlight--really--SUN light. Make sure you're gettting good solid sleep--not snoring away or stop breathing--if you don't have a bed mate, schedule a sleep study--not cheap, got insurance? How old are you? Have you hormone levels checked. St Johns wort may help. There's alot of good info on this site, research, try it, use what helps, let the rest go. good luck

Boa sorte!
Desculpe, mas meu ingles é péssimo.
