i like her because she has a good personality.and because she looks nice.i dont know how 2 ask her out though because im shy.but i konw her as a friend.we r both freshmens in high school.

Well same situation here...but i'm not in high school...
well first get to know her well...talk to her regularly..not every 5minutes i mean....see what you guys have in common. After that you can judge about her personality. You might like her for her looks and think she has nice personality. Get to know her well...and once your def. good friends with her. Ask her out with honesty. Don't worry about being nervous and all...you'll be but just do it.
Because you're not going out with her while she's your friend...if you ask her and she says no...guess what you are still where you were...so nothing to lose..and if she is your good friend by than..she won't break the friendship...actually it might deepen it and increase your chances...so get to be her good friend and know her...this gets you her 80% chance of her saying yes...
Alright chump...go do this before next marking period...or some other dude will beat you to it..and than all you will do is **sigh over in the gym locker room....so go do these things...

all you need to do is just be yourself. She probably likes you too but, like you, is too shy to tell you. If she is already your friend, then just ask her. The worst thing that will happen is she said no and you have not lost anything really have you?
