i split with my ex about a month ago , and he found a new guy in 2 days , do you think its about time i look for a guy who like me for me and what i got to give ?

Sure why not? Maybe its best that you let that guy come to you. Be patient. Nobody needs a guy to make you happy. That's not what life is about....there is so much more...but hey I do think its time to move on. Stop thinking about the past. Move forward. Its the only right way to go. The best way to get over a love lost is with another person whether it is long term or not. Being alone just makes you bitter and you constantly think about that other person. Being with someone else helps you to occupy your time and you learn not to think of the other person as much. Try not to compare your ex to your future.

A month isn't all that long .. I think it depends on how serious your relationship with your ex was and if you feel ready to be dating again .. and not just looking to even up with him .. good luck and enjoy the hunt!!
