It's only discriminatory against skill.
Height and race is not a factor in basketball.
Look at Mugsy Bogues.
Look at Yao Ming.
Look at Jason Kidd.
They all have skill.

Basketball is not discriminating to Mexican-Americans. It just so happens that they don't have the tallness that has come to be part of the sport. It's not fair to say BB is discriminating against MA, when -no offense, because i don't know- maybe it's just the fact that they are not as good of players as AM, or just americans in general. Think of baseball..... There were no blacks in the sport, until one guy broke the barrier.. BECAUSE HE WAS GREAT. It could end up happening in basketball to, just with Mexican Americans.

This is a joke, right? I mean, they do not get many Japanese on their teams, either, you know. And perhaps there should be a limit on how slim a model can be, so that Pennsylvania German women could compete! Or make a rule as to the top speed a rapper can speak, so whites would have a chance?
As humor, it fell a bit short.

Oh, pulease! Earl Boykins is 5'6", height is not a factor. Bad playing is a Factor. I would also like to point out Edwardo Najara, who just happens to be from Mexico. Why are you so paranoid as to believe that sport is anything other than playing the game WELL!!!

It's called a "business neccesity", I learned about it in class. Basketball is so unique, that they can't have equal rights because the best players are uniquely talented.

sports is the only place were people get to be there because of there talent. I would love to see a mexican basketball player, that would be cool. The whole thing in sports is that you have to be tall enough, quick enough, strong enough.I have seen short players. My favorite sport is soccer.

How about an average weight too? And also an average age. It's not fair that because I am old and fat that I can't play in the NBA.

Height isn't an issue. Look at Spud Webb, Mugsey Bogues. If your short and got game you'll make the pros. If your tall and suck you wont make the pros. Don't make it a race issue. It's a talent issue.
