I would do the complete opposite I did with my best friend (now i barely talk 2 her). i would act like myself nd not try 2 impress her by being some1 im not, which I tried 2 do.basically jus be there for her if she needs help with anything, make her laugh nd smile, make her feel a little more special than every1 else......... ugh thats what i shoulda done :-(

catch her eye gaze and if its returned for an awkward second then go and talk to her about something we have in common like the class you are both attending. However, she must add to the conversation because we men are not very good with the whole communication thing.

I personally go and talk to her. If I don't know her, I would comment on something in crowd or public to see her reaction and take it from there. I am just honest, so I would walk up to her and comment something abt her (ex. smile, hair, eyes)
and say too bad I don't know you, but just ur (smile , eyes, whatever the answer i used before to compliment her)
works for me, but that's me.
Not all guys can be confident or have courage to be honest and just walk up to them. It's that simple....

go out of my way to talk to her, even if it's just about something totally random. there's this one girl at my school that I really like and that's what I do, I try to spend my "alone" time with her.

Talk to her ask her if she would like to go see a movie or go out to dinner. It's pretty easy. I'd let her know that I like her and see what she wants to do. Whats the worst thing that could happen? She says, "no thanks".
